Jane Hawley is a writer and educator from San Luis Obispo, California. She received her BA from the University of Wyoming and MFA in Fiction from Texas State University, where she served as the Managing Editor of Front Porch Journal. Her fiction, non-fiction, and graphic narratives have been published by Day One, The Pinch, and Memoir Journal. Her most recent publication is an essay about going on solo road trips as a young woman in Because I Was A Girl: True Stories for Girls of All Ages edited by New York Times #1 bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz and published by Macmillan.
